GV II

House. C17, refronted early C18 with some late C20 alterations. Timber-frame
with rendered infill refronted in painted brick on a coursed rubble plinth,
under a tile roof. Main stack to centre of rear (north) wall. South front
of one storey with attic lit by two gabled dormers and a 2-light casement in
a central pediment over the advanced centre. Band to ground floor. Two plus
two plus two windows, the outer windows 3-light casements,.those to the centre
of two lights, all under segmental heads. Entrance to right-hand side of
centre has a segmental head and glazed door. Framing exposed to east gable
end is three square panels high with two struts to the collar. (RCHM, 3,
