House, now divided into two dwellings. C17 with mid-C19 and mid-C20 alterations
and additions. Two framed bays aligned east/west with external chimney at west
gable end now enclosed by single-bay addition which continues roof ridge. Single
storey and attic with dormers. Framing: two panels from sill to wall-plate, long
straight braces in lower corners, collar and tie-beam truss with three struts at
east gable end. South front elevation: original part has tiled weathering at
first floor level; 4-light ground floor casements, two gabled dormers with 2-
light casements, half-glazed C20 porch with part-glazed door within; also
glazed door to far left. Interior not inspected. Brick addition to left has
a pair of single-light ground-floor casements and a multi-paned door with a
canopy on shaped brackets. Lean-to additions at gable ends.
