Barn. Probably late C17 to C18 with later C19 or early C20 alterations.
Weatherboarded timber-frame partly rebuilt in brick with half-hipped sand-
stone slate and corrugated iron roofs. Rectangular plan of three plus four
bays aligned roughly north/south. Two levels. West elevation has lower
three-bay part to left with weatherboarding and corrugated iron roof. Two
openings to upper level and ledged door to right. Taller five-bay part to
right has sandstone tile roof, half-hipped to right, three openings to loft
and two ledged doors. East elevation of lower part is weatherboarded. The
five-bay part has been re-fronted in brick. Interior noted as having raking
strut trusses. Included for group value.
