of Trottsford Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Early C18, 1815, with C20 restoration. Timber-frame of 7 bays with aisles
and central entrances, Queen post truss. ½-hipped tile roof, gabled waggon
entrance on the south side, recessed entrance on the north side. Walls of stone
with brick dressings, some slotted vents, the north side showing as a series of
stores (east of the entrance) each with a Gothic doorway. Stone plaque in the
north entrance reveal incised 1815.
