Early C19. U-shaped block, with a 2-storeyed centrepiece to the middle part,
surmounted by a bell turret. Tiled roof, gabled at the outer ends and at the
centrepeice, which is brick-dentilled as a steep pediment. The octagonal turret has
an open arcade and a lead-covered dome; the north gable has a clockface within a
hatchment frame. The red brick walling is in English bond, with a deep stepped
plinth. The window openings are semi-circular lunettes with stone keys, the doorways
have cambered heads with stone keys, there are arches at the entrance to passageways
in the angles. On the south side there is a parapet, and the centrepiece has a
circular window in the gable and a blank lunette above a plain doorway, there are 2
flat-roofed dormers and a pair of modern windows at each side. On 3 corners one
building is tied to the garden wall system.
