Inn, formerly part of Catheral Hall (q.v.). Early C18, possibly with
earlier core, much altered. Roughcast rubble, artificial slate roof. 2
storeys, 1:1:1 first-floor windows, being cross-wing, gable-end to road,
with flanking outshuts. Entrance in gable-end of right outshut, board door
in ashlar surround with keystone. Above it, a double-chamfered surround of
2-light mullion window, now with side-sliding sash. In centre, one bay of
sash windows with glazing bars in ashlar surrounds. In left outshut, sash
windows with glazing bars. Shaped kneelers and ashlar coping to central
part. Lateral stack to left.
