House. C17 and C18. Brick and stone, continuous, part fish-scaled, tiled
roof; 3 ridge chimneys. 2 storeys, 5 windows. Garden front: brick
dentilled cornice, C19 casements regularly placed, C20 French casements on
ground floor, entrance from C20 2 storey porch. Road frontage from late
C19 addition above which is mock timber-framing. Interior: exposed
rectangular timber-framed panels and roof trusses; late C18 oak staircase.
plain balusters, open string with cut brackets. To right: attached stone
C18, 2 storey, 3 bay former kitchen now part of bedroom area of house;
interrupted tie-beam truss with king-post. To left: linked brick stable
block: external stair; complete C18 roof trusses.
