Cottage. Late C17/early C18, extended by 1799. Timber-frame, older portion on high rubble plinth, brick infill, plain tile roof. Two framed bays to older portion (left) and two added framed bays on right. Outshut to rear and C20 gabled extension at right angles forming overall L-plan. Central brick stack, formerly external. One and a half storeys, attic lit by two gabled dormers; two windows and ledged door to older part, two C20 windows to right hand part. Gable end to road (right) of rubble with brick dressings to segmental headed casements on each floor. Framing: almost complete, sill beam largely replaced, older portion two square panels high, gable truss: queen struts to collar and V struts in apex; later portion partially renewed in 1984.
