Pair of cottages, formerly farmhouse C17 and C18. Timber-frame with brick
infilling and rebuilding on ground floor, added outshot of flint with brick
dressing and weatherboarding above, roof thatched. 3 bay with smoke bay C17
house, jettied. 1st floor with similar timber-frame bay added to right and C18
bay added to left with weatherboarded jetty. Central narrow smoke bay with C19
and C20 doors in bay on each side, and in added bay at right, with C19 2 and
3-light casements to side of each, and blank left bay. Only main members of timber frame exposed on ground floor with complete jetty and 1st floor timbers with brackets to main beams on jetty. C19 1, 2 and 3-light casement in each bay on 1st floor. Roof hipped and swept down at right. Large 3-flue stack over smoke bay and hip stack at left.
