GV II

Cottage. Late C17/early C18. Timber framed with brick, stone and plaster
infill; plain tile roof. L-plan. Box-frame with thin braces. One storey and
attic. 2 cells, the South Western one possibly earlier; later L-plan wing to
rear and a C20 lean-to masking front. Mostly C19 casements, one dormer, 2
gable end windows to South West. Large chimney to North East with detached
shaft; side chimney to South East. Interior retains chamfered beams but has
C19 staircase. One of the Coventry Estate cottages; at one time divided into
two.
