SK 87 SW SOUTH CLIFTON BACK STREET (west side)

1/86 Vine House

G.V. II

House, C17, brick with steep pitched interlocking tile roof, tarred plinth,
1st floor and eaves brick bands, tumbling on north gable, 2 gable stacks.
3 bricks in south gable inscribed 'Jonathan Baines Builder'. 2 storeys,
4 windows, L plan. Off-centre C20 doorcase, flanked to south by blocked
doorway, beyond 2 light Yorkshire sash; to north, 2 light casement, beyond
2 light Yorkshire sash; both sashes have segmental heads. Above, 4 C19
Yorkshire sashes with timber lintels.
