SU 63 NW OLD ALRESFORD

Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Mid C18 remodelled mid C20. Rubble flint with brick bands and
dressings, old plain tile roof. 2 storey and cellar, 5 window range. Front
door in 2nd bay from right, C20 glazed door with doorcase of fluted pilasters
and consoles supporting broken pediment. Windows all C20 with gauged brick
arches and cills lowered. 1st floor rendered band on brick band. Plain timber
cornice. Wide brick dressings to right of door and blocked doorway in 2nd bay
from left. Roof steep pitched with C18 gable end stacks, external at right.
