Farmhouse. C17, altered mid-C19 and C20. Timber-framed with wattle-
and-daub infill, roughcast render, sandstone plinth and stacks, coursed
and squared sandstone rubble addition, tiled roofs, hipped to later addition.
Main range aligned north-west/south-east facing south-west with cross-wing
at north-west end, and later addition extending to south-east; central
entrance and further entrance in angle of cross-wing; main axial stack
and further lateral stack to cross-wing. Two storeys; gable end of cross-
wing to left, 2-light casement window and similar 3-light window to ground
floor; main range; two 2-light windows to first floor, one 3-light and one
2-light window to ground floor to left of doorway with canopied porch and
ledged door, further porch in angle of cross-wing with half-glazed door;
later stone addition to right, three 2-light windows with cambered heads
to first floor, one 3-light window, loop vent and ledged door to ground
floor. Framing concealed by C20 render is partly revealed in interior,
largely complete square panels.
