8/28 The Dell and Dell House

27.11.84 II

Farmhouse, extended early C20, but most of addition now separate dwelling.
C16, extended early C20. Timber-frame with brick infill, later additions
in brick with some framing, old plain tile roof. Front of original
building single storey and attic, 3 bay with low additions to right. Pent
roofed timber porch with top-light door to left of centre with baffle entry.
In each bay 3-light leaded casement, above which are, on roof, 3 3-light
hipped dormers, and at left end large 3-light casement. Roof half-hipped
to left with ridge stack above door and large stack on right end.
