Row of cottages, now offices. Early C16, altered and extended mid C20.
Timber framed, with painted render infill, underbuilt in brick; old
tile gabled roof. Rectangular plan probably of 5 framed bays, jettied
on north with C20 extensions at rear. 2 storeys. 2 ridge chimneys,
one tall flanking chimney on left. 5 bay front with some frame visible. C20
casements with glazing bars on first floor, the one on left an earlier
sliding casement. Similar on ground floor with C20 part glazed entrance
doors, one pair on the left between first and second bays, second pair
between third and fourth bays, and one on extreme right. Interior:-
Some framing and jowled posts exposed. B.0.E. (Berkshire) p.309.
