Inn. C16 altered C19 and C20. Part painted brick and rendering, part
timber framed. Old tile gabled roof with gabled dormers, flanking chimney
on right and one offset on ridge. L-plan 2 storeys, attic and cellar.
Road front: projecting one bay gable on left with upper sash window over
3-light sash both with glazing bars. Right hand has 2, C19 dormers,
3 upper bays, centre a painted inn sign panel flanked by sashes. C19
entrance porch with winged half glazed doors and angular bay with hipped
old tile roof to right of this. V.C.H. Vol.III p.191.
