churchyard of the Church of St
Mary Magdalene

Bale tomb. C19. Sandstone. Inscription at the west end to Alfred
Healing, died 1867. Inscription to Sarah Healing, died 1939 at the
east end. Sides of tomb may bear further inscriptions (obscured by
ivy at the time of resurvey May 1986). Baluster with ribbed
decoration. Winged hour-glass at the east end. Winged cherub's
head at the west end.
