Detached Stables. Early C18. Rubble-stone walls with ashlar stone
quoins. Thatch roof with stone gable-copings and ovolo-moulded
kneelers. One storey. 3 windows, flat mullion-and-transom windows
of 2-lights, with moulded stone cornices over. Fixed iron windows
with lead lights. Doorway at centre with eaved stone architrave and
cornice. Plank door, studded and with strap hinges. Plank stable
door on north end wall. Plank loft door over. (RCHM, Dorset I,
