Pair of cottages, - possibly originally one house. Probably early
C18. Walls - lower part rubble stone, upper part plastered cob.
Thatched roofs, brick centre stack. One storey and attic. Front
wall buttressed. No 41 has C20 part-glazed door. Ground floor has
2 casement windows with glazing bars. Attic has one half dormer
with horizontally sliding sashes with glazing bars. No 43 has stable
type door. Ground floor has 3 casement windows with glazing bars.
Attic has two half dormers with horizontally sliding sashes with
glazing bars. Single storey extension on south, of stone, with
thatched roof. Some exposed ceiling beams.
