NOTGROVE NOTGROVE VILLAGE SP 11 NW 6/75 Former dairy c30m north-east of Notgrove Manor GV II Former dairy in the grounds of Notgrove Manor. Probably designed by A.N. Prentice for Cyril Cunard. Limestone rubble, squared and dressed quoins. Thatched roof. Octagonal plan. Single storey. Two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements with diamond leaded panes in each face. Plank door within moulded and dressed stone surround with carved spandrels. Roof; central thatched louvred octagonal lantern with weathervane at top. Interior; tiled floor, central sunken octagonal feature possibly fountain or water source. Niche for statue in wall opposite entrance. Walls painted with blue lattice pattern and monogram 'C B C'.
