Woollen Mill, 1794. Coursed stone with dressings; slate roof. 3 storeys,
11 bays. Projecting central 3-bay section has blocked central doorway with
triple keystone; 16-pane sash windows, many now empty, one in door opening.
Pedimented gable with large stone clock face; large block behind may be base
for bellcote. Similar fenestration in flanking sections,except for elliptical-
arched cart entrance in 9th bay. Coped gables with kneelers; reduced stack
at right end. To right, set slightly back, single-storey link, with boarded
door and small elliptical-arched cart entrance, to Netherwitton Farmhouse (q.v.).
Left return has double doors, loading doors to,lst and 2nd floors and 16-pane
sash in gable. Rear elevation similar to front.
