Farmhouse, C18. Red brick with dark headers, formerly limewashed. Hipped
roof of smut pantiles. Two storeys and attics, L-shaped plan. Main facade
to east symmetrical, of three bays: sashes with glazing bars in segmental
headed openings. Central doorway with six-panelled door and rectangular
fanlight with decorative glazing bars. Pilastered doorcase with fluted frieze
and dentilled cornice; panelled reveals. Platband at first floor level.
Brick dentilled eaves cornice. Fenestration altered on north wall: two
blocked openings, one ground floor C20 cross casement with glazing bars, one
first floor sash. Later gabled 2 1/2 storey wing to rear with C20 casements.
West gable with tumbling-in at base and internal chimney stack. Two chimney
stacks to front range. Two entrance doors in north-east angle.
