Detached house. Late C18-early C19. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone; stone slate roof with the original ashlar stacks. Two
storeys, attic and cellar. Rectangular plan with successive later
extensions rear right (facing the road); former stable block rear
left not of special interest. Symmetrical, 3-windowed facade lit
by 16-pane sashes; 12-pane sash over the front door, all windows
within dressed stone surrounds with keystones. Central late C18-
early C19 door with 6 flush panels (4 now glazed). C19 Chinese
style latticework porch with a curving gable and finial. Two-light
casements with concrete lintels to the right gable end.
Fenestration of roadside front (of successive extensions) includes
a sliding sash window and two 4-pane sash windows with horns.
Interior not inspected.
