Row of 4 houses. Late C17 and early Cl9. Coursed and random
rubble limestone; ashlar and various rebuilt chimneys; stone
slate roof. Two-storey with attic. Front: Malthouse to right,
and house at south end are gable-end to road. House at south end
has 2 gables, each with cut-down chimney. Central doorway with
plank door and flat timber porch hood; scattered timber casements.
Single gable to Malthouse, 2-window fenestration; timber casements
to ground floor, C20 metal casements to upper floor; single C20
attic casement. Central doorway with raised rendered surround and
C20 door. C20 replaced casements in segmental arched window
openings of 2 central houses, one with C20 enlarged ground floor
window openings. Segmental arched doorway to each. Interiors not
inspected. Included for Group Value.
