Detached cottage. c1780. Plastered cob walls, hipped thatched roof, brick end stacks. Two storeys. Ledged door with glass panel. Ground floor has two cross-pattern windows with lead lights. First floor has three casements with lead lights. Left of the house the former forge has walls of flint, brick and plastered cob, and hipped pantiled roof. Single-storey. Timber doors and shuttered window. This linked to a two-storeyed outbuilding behind the house, with brick and flint walls and pantiled roof. Ledged doors, casements with glazing bars, and loft door. Outbuildings may be slightly later than the house.
