No 1 is at South end. C17 to C18 probably. Cottage row set back from
road. Four cottages with symmetrical treatment to front. 2 storeys.
Stone rubble with thatched roof swept up over first floor windows to form
half-dormers. Wood casements with lead glazing. Each cottage has one
2-light casement above, and below, has a single-light casement to left
of door and a 3-light casements to right of door. Nos 2 and 4 with ledged
doors. Lintels over ground floor windows and doors. Brick chimneys.
