ST 89 NE MINCHINHAMPTON BOX

7/205 Gateway and walls to Box House

II

Gateway. Early C19. Ashlar limestone; timber gates. Curved
screen wall either side of gateway, each part with central
pedestrian doorway. Plain square gate piers with moulded caps and
domical coping; similar terminal piers to flanking walls with
domical caps only. Plain coping to wall, doorways having segmental
arched opening with 6-panel beaded doors. Openwork timber gates
with swept top.
