Malthouse, now dwelling. Mid C18, used as dwelling and store
in C20 and converted into dwelling c1988-9. Built of brick
with 4-course modillion cornice and gabled stone slate roof.
Rectangular plan, set at right angles to the road; original
structure extended by one bay at road end (north east). 2
storeys with attic. South-east facade of 3-window range has
small dormers with 2-light casements and segmental arches over
2-light casements, the outer first-floor ones inserted 1988-9.
Gable to road has two segmental-arched openings. North-west
front includes 2 small dormers and guaged brick flat arches
and segmental arches over 2-light casements and former window
(now doorway) to left; former garage doorway to left now
glazed; flight of 8 stone steps rise to first floor, with
strap hinges to C19 plank door. Interior not inspected but
noted as including collar-truss roof. Groups with Malthouse
Farmhouse (qv).

Dwelling, garage, and store, formerly malthouse. Mid C18. Brickwork with 4-course
modillion cornice, stone slate roof. A long narrow building set gable to road,
original structure extended by one bay at road end. South-east facade relatively
unchanged. Two storeys plus attic, two small dormers with 2-light casements very
widely spaced, and three 2-light casements under segmental arches at ground floor
level. Gable to road contains two openings under segmental heads. North-west front
modified, but includes flight of 8 external stone steps to first floor door, three
2-light openings on two levels, and 2 small dormers. Garage door, left. Groups with
Malthouse Farmhouse (q.v.).
