Farmhouse. Mid C19, but possibly containing the core of an earlier house. Main
range of volcanic trap ashlar, with cross wings (sandstone to rear) under dry-slate
roof, wings gable-ended to front, half-hipped to rear. The left-hand wing adjoins
farmbuildings (which are separately listed). 2 storeys.
Front: Symmetrical; 2 axial stone stacks with moulded caps; 3 window range, all
windows of 2 lights; central stone porch, gabled with slate roof, and wide, studded
door. Wings with one 2-light window above, one 3-light window below. All
casements, timber, 6 panes per light. Large external stack to right-hand end; this
elevation has two 2-light windows to first floor, each light with 2 or 3 leaded
panes; wide doorway below, and two 2-light openings.
Rear: Three 3-light windows to main range above slate-roofed leanto with one 4-
light window, 2 lights of which contain 10 leaded panes each. 2-light openings to
rear wings. Interior not inspected.
