Circa 1865. The terrace was originally the United Services College and
the setting of Rudyard Kiplings "Stalky and Co." It is a rather forbidding
4 storey stucco row with typical detail of circa 1865. Each house has
a 3 storey splayed bay, the parapets forming balconies at 3rd floor level.
Above these are paired round headed windows. Dormers have segmental heads
and scroll sides. Iron balconies between bays at 1st floor level. Listed
partly for its literary associations.
