House. C16 or earlier. Formerly dated 1717 on gable. Timber framed and
plastered. Red plain tiled roofs, gabled crosswing to right, left, central and
right red brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys and attics. Left range, 2 storey
crosswing. 2 gabled dormers to right, bargeboards to dormers and crosswing. 2:1
window range of vertically sliding sashes to first floor, verandah to left range
with ornate cornice. Left small paned French window, moulded surround and
frieze, flat canopy, shutters. Central and right vertically sliding sashes with
shutters, doorway between these 2 windows, 2 panelled, 2 light, moulded
surround, lion mask patera. Greek key frieze motif, flat canopy. RCHM 9.
