CRESSING HAWBUSH GREEN
TL 72 SE (east side)

1/56 The Bakery

GV II

Cottage. C18 or earlier. Timber framed, plastered, roof thatched. 3 bays
facing SW, with external stack at left end and internal stack at right end. One
storey with attics. Lean-to extension with slate roof along full length of
rear, and round left end, and extending to the front, forming an L-plan. 2 C20
casements and 2 more in gabled dormers. Half-glazed 4-panel door in lean-to
porch roofed with handmade red plain tiles. Similar tiles round right stack.
The front of the left extension (formerly a bakery) has one C20 casement and a
plain boarded door. Interior not inspected.
