House, formerly farmhouse. C16 or earlier. Plastered stone rubble. Slate roof
with gabled ends. 3 rooms and through passage plan, hall axial stack backing onto
through passage and large kitchen stack at lower gable end. Rectangular stair
turret at rear and later rear outshut. 2 storeys. Long 5-6 window range. Small
C20 casements. Through passage doorway to right of centre with wooden chamfered
cranked head doorframe and open-fronted stone porch with slated lean-to roof.
Interior: stud wall at lower side of through passage. Blocked fireplaces. Chafered
ceiling beams in hall. Chamfered wooden cranked head doorway at rear of hall to
newel stairs. Similar doorframe at top of stairs to central room. Roof structure
not inspected but possibly medieval.
