House. Early Cl9. Render grooved as ashlar, quoin strips, moulded cornice, low
pitched Welsh slate roof hipped to right with 3 brick stacks on right; hung with
Cornish slates on right return elevation. 3-storeys; 2-bays, sash windows with
glazing bars in slightly raised surrounds with rusticated voussoirs, tripartite
window in slightly recessed segment headed surround to ground floor. Tuscan
porch with diamond pattern frieze. Panelled door half filled with coloured
glass. Panelled forecourt pier on the right matching that of Thornes the
Butchers (qv).
