4/84 No. 30 (The Old School House)
GV II
House. Probably 1838. Coursed rubble stone with quoins, stone dressings
and 1st floor sill band and Collyweston slate hipped roof with moulded
stone side stacks. 2 storeys of 3 6/6 sash windows. Lintels with
keystones. Central 2 leaved door with overlight (the glazing bars forming
a diamond) and flat stone canopy on carved consoles. 2 storey extension
to rear with brick stack. Almost certainly built in 1838 at the same
time as the School (q.v.) next door.
