House, now divided. Mid-C18. Red brick with plain tile roof.
2 storeys and attic. Coved stone eaves cornice, parapeted gable
end to left with chamfered sandstone coping and shaped kneeler, integral
brick end stack to left and external brick end stack to right. Large
central C18 hipped eaves dormer with 2-+3-light casements, left-hand
metal and right-hand wooden.2-bays; first-floor glazing bar sashes
(right-hand tripartite) with painted gauged-brick heads and painted
stone cills. Ground-floor canted bay to right with 3 glazing bar
sashes, frieze and moulded gutter. Door to left with 6 raised and
fielded panels, Gothick 3-part rectangular overlight and wooden Gothick
porch with clustered shafts supporting architrave, arcaded frieze
and moulded cornice.2 stone steps up. Left-hand gable end: blocked
first-floor window with raised band above. Attic oculus to right
with centre-hung casement. Interior not inspected not likely to
be of interest.
