Barn approx. 60m north-east of Binweston Farmhouse

Barn. C17, eaves raised early C19. Weatherboarded timber frame on
red brick and rubble-stone plinth; graded slate roof. Threshing barn
of 3 bays converted to cowhouse. 2 levels; one hatched opening to
left and doorway to right of centre. Board with decorative carving
(possibly medieval) reused in weatherboarding to back wall. Interior:
framing visible, 2 rectangular panels with straight tension braces
from cill to original wall-plate with one square panel above. Queen-
strut end trusses and Queen-post trusses to centre; lofts over 2 left
bays. Several reused timbers to both framing and roof structure.
