House. C19. Local stone rendered, colourwashed, with Doulting stone dressings; Welsh slate roof hipped at South end,
plain gable to North; yellow brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Plinth, band and simple eaves courses, flat
pilasters to each bay with Doric caps: tall 16-pane sash windows below, 12-pane sashes above; central entrance with
part glazed margined double doors set into semi-circular arched recess with ornate fanlight over. Wing walls to both
sides; that to North has 4-centre arched gateway, and that to South has a blind recess, masking a late building. Built
c1860 for Dr Higginbotham when he set up his medical practice, on the cellars and underground kitchens of an earlier
