House, at one time 2 dwellings and a shop. Mid C17, roof raised,
extended and altered in C20. Timber frame on brick base, C20 panelled
pargetted rendering. Steeply pitched machine tiled roof. 3 cell lobby
entry with an early 1 bay addition to left. 1 storey and attic. Entrance
now to centre in C20 closed glazed hipped porch. 2 and 3 light flush
frame small pane casements with hoodboards. Four 2 light dormers with
raking heads, 2 to left with horizontal sliding sashes. Rebuilt ridge
stack behind entrance. Left gable end exposed plates with earlier
roofline visible. Right end half hipped with a C19 external stack,
exposed plates. To rear scattered casements, 1 dormer. To left a 1
storey C20 garage addition. Interior: some exposed framing, tension
braces, jowled posts, cambered tie beams.
