Cottage. Probably late C18 - early C19, modernised circa 1970. Colour-washed local
stone and flint rubble; stone rubble stack topped with plastered C20 brick; thatch
roof.
Plan: small 2-room plan cottage facing south-west with a gable-end stack at the

originally but is now on the left end. The cottage is 2 storeys with secondary
lean-to outshots on the left end and to rear.
Exterior: 2-window front of C20 casements with glazing bars. The roof is gable-
ended to right and hipped to left. The entrance in the left end contains a C20 door
behind a porch incorporated in the outshot that end.
Interior was not available for inspection at the time of this survey.
Apple Trees is an attractive roadside cottage which forms part of a scattered group
of listed buildings along the southern approach to Luppit.
