TA 10 NE RIBY MAIN STREET

Barn, C18, date of 1782 in iron end ties not necessarily the
construction date. C19 alterations. Brick with raised brick
coped gables having brick kneelers, pantiled roof. West side has
a blocked central main door In the north gable end are iron ties
dated 1782, together with 3 diamond shaped pierced ventilation
grids above 2 later brick battered buttresses. Inside is a
staggered butt purlin roof with ridge piece, 5 bays; end 2
floored at first floor level to form staging in C19.
