Barn. Circa 1700. Timber framed, weatherboarded, main roof of slate, midstrey
roof of corrugated iron. 5 bays aligned approx. E-W, with midstrey to S. Lean-
to extensions each side of midstrey, C18, and large lean-to extension to N,
roofed and clad with corrugated iron, C20. Corner posts jowled, intermediate
posts unjowled with hanging knees. Face-halved and bladed scarfs in wallplates.
Clasped purlin roof. All of high quality timber, probably imported, fully
pegged construction finely carpentered, an exceptionally complete example of its
period.
