Well head. Dated 1858. Coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar
dressings. The well head is set into a retaining wall at the side of
the road and has a raised lip and a pointed arch formed of two pieces
of stone. The springer below the left hand lintel is inscribed " +
The Parson's Well/A.D. 1858". Above it is a further stone to the
upper walling inscribed " + Keep thyself pure".
