Two adjoining cottages, former smithy and cottage. Probably late C18, modernised
circa 1970. Plastered cob walls on rubble footings. Mixed brick, stone and cob
stacks. Thatched roof. 2-storeys, 1-room deep with stacks to rear. Divided by
cob wall. Roughly symmetrical front with overall 4-window front. C20 casements.
Thatch eyebrows over first floor windows. C20 front doors with thatched hoods.
Interior is thoroughly modernised. Included for group value.
