GV II

House. C16. Timber frame with whitewashed brick infill, the ground floor
part rebuilt in whitewashed brick. Old tile roof, chimney of narrow
brick to left. 1½ storeys. 2 bays. C20 paired barred wooden casement
to ground floor left, C20 similar metal casement to ground floor right,
paired C20 casements in gabled semi-dormers. Old board door off-centre
to left in gabled timber porch. Flanking C20 single storey extensions,
each of one bay, with half-timbering. Rear has older wooden casements,
those to upper storey below the eaves. Interior: massive floor joists
in right bay, stop-chamfered spine beam and joists in left bay; roof
has queen strut trusses, and curved and ogee wind-braces.
