south-east of Killivose Farmhouse

Stable, cow-house, barn etc. Probably C18 or earlier, incorporating some
earlier fabric. Uncoursed granite rubble with quoins , roofs of slurried
scantle slates and corrugated metal sheet. Long range on east-west axis
with stable block at west end and large barn projecting at east end. Two
storeys except barn; 3-bay stable has central doorway with loading door
above and 2 windows on each floor, that to the right at ground floor with
a re-used lintel of a former 3-light mullioned window; the cow-house
continues to the right, and has a wagon doorway close to the junction,
with massive granite lintel, a smaller doorway further to the right with a
loading door above, 2 small square openings at ground floor and 2 small
windows at 1st floor, all widely spaced. The barn, on a canted axis, has a
doorway to the left, a wagon doorway to the right, and a very low window
between them, all these with heads under the eaves. Quoined surrounds to
all openings. Rear of barn has slate roof carried down over shelter.
