1880s. Architect Swinfen Harris. 2 storey house with gabled attic employing a
variety of decorative surface treatments. 2 windows. Brick built. Tiled roof
with crested ridge and end stacks. Left hand verge masked by No 3. Gabled dormer
to left and large jettied timber framed gable to right. Brick nogging and plaster
panels below both windows. Blind tracery on corner posts of main gable. Moulded
jetty beam and bargeboards. Casement windows. 5 light wooden rectangular oriel
on left of 1st floor, mullioned and transomed with small panes in upper lights.
Double shop front with recessed entrance and small passageway through to rear on
left. Ornate wrought iron weathervane with panel having "W.51.W" in openwork.
