C16 or late C15 timber-framed hall house with storeyed jettied crosswings.
Hall floored over and large lateralbrick stacks added late C16 or early C17.
Plaster infill to first floor, red brick infill to ground floor, some XC18, C19
and modern. Curved braces, jetty underbuilt to left hand crosswing. Right
hand crosswing largely reconstructed and end bay extension to west Old tile
roofs. Casement windows, mostly modern. Two dormers in hall upper storey.
Old C17 hall ground floor window. Large lateral stacks, to east elevation of
right hand crosswing, and on south gable wall of left hand cross wing. Single
srorey rangr to south along Crossley's Hill.
