GV II

Two houses now amalgamated into a single unit as house and shop. N. house
has datestone 1624 and was altered C18. Colourwashed limestone rubble. Brick
dentil course added at eaves. Old clay tile roof. Two storeys. 2-bay plan.
E. elevation; first floor has two 3-light casements under timber lintels.
Ground floor has one 3-light casement with doorway to right. This has C20
bracketed doorhood. S. building has inscription on S. gable end "I.P.A.
1807". Colourwashed coursed limestone rubble. Concrete tile roof with tile
gable coping. 3-bay plan. Two storeys. Gable end red brick chimney stacks.
E. elevation: first floor three casement windows with timber lintels, central
one of 2-lights, others 3-light. Ground floor central doorway with flat
doorhood. To left is 3-light fixed shop window. To right is one single light
casement and 3-light casement.
