GV II

Lodge. Late C19 with C20 addition. Granite ashlar. Hipped slate roof with stacks
to sides with granite ashlar shafts.
Plan: 2-room plan with central entrance, the room to left projecting with a front
bay; each room heated from a stack at the side. C20 addition to rear right. Tudor
Gothic style.
Exterior: 2 storeys, asymmetrical 2-window front; all windows C19 plate-glass sashes.
String course and embattled parapet. Bay to left has canted bay with embattled
parapet at ground floor ; first floor paired sashes. Porch with embattled parapet
set in the angle to right with inner 4-panelled door, paired sash to right at ground
and first floor. Left side has external stack, single sash at ground and first floor
to right and at first floor to left. Right side has external stack, single sash at
ground and first floor to left and at first floor to right. The embattled parapet is
continued over the addition to right, which has paired sash with shouldered head at
ground and first floor.
